Jim Saros

Jim Saros is the Chairman of Jim Saros Real Estate Services. Having over 30 years of experience in the Metro-Detroit market, he is recognized as one of the best and brightest real estate professionals in the State of Michigan. Jim has transacted on thousands of properties ranging from modest starter homes, to some of the highest profile luxury-estates that Metro-Detroit has to offer.

Jim is a graduate of Wayne State University, where he graduated with his degree in Business and Education, and also earned his MBA. Outside of the classroom, Jim was a 3-sport star athlete, competing in Baseball, Football, and Basketball at the Varsity level.

Since entering into the real estate industry at the age of 21, Jim took the company’s single-room, small-family operation, and grew it into one of the most respected and preeminent brokerage firms on Detroit’s Eastside. With decades of transitional experience, and personal relationships with key industry players, Jim has found great success and is known for his unrivaled ability to close the most difficult transactions.

During his tenure in the Pointes, Jim has been one of the most active community members and donors for academics, as well as youth athletics. For decades, he has donated both personally and financially to many organizations. He founded and coached numerous youth baseball, softball, and basketball teams/ organizations, he has served on numerous community boards, ranging from: Little League, Grosse Pointe Public School Board, Grosse Pointe South Grid Iron Club, Grosse Pointe South Dugout Club, Grosse Pointe South Choir, St Johns Hospital, as well as many other community groups and organizations.

Jim currently resides in Grosse Pointe Park, where he has happily lived with his family for nearly 30 years.
